Infant Log 2005 Update

So I wrote this program for Nina to track Eva's happenings during the day.
Background: Nina was actually already logging every event in Eva's life. (Diapers/Feedings/Sleeping)
She would write down the times for every event which actually consumed some amount of time.
I thought <idea>Why don't I write some simple software to log this info into a database?</idea>

So thus began the 'Infant Log 2005' project.
It is quite simple really; Every event gets logged by a simple key stroke (i.e.: P=Play Time, C=Sleeping/Crib).
It even tracks who performs certain tasks (for future reference :).

Once the data is available I can pretty much do what I want with it (reports, statistics, etc.)
Currently it prints the last 24 hours of data, including the percentage of time spent at each major event.

Eva's doctor loved the idea (after much laughter and disbelief, and then some more laughter, and then some showing others what a 'nerd' Eva's daddy is).

Anyways, this post is partially to document the changes I need to make, and features to be added.
So, in no particular order:
* Shift key logs event for the alternate family member performing the task.
* Display the elapsed time at current event in the task bar when minimized.
* Display time since the start of each type of event on the main form.
* Make tracking multiple babies more easy.
* Make reports reflect longer periods of time.
* Chart progress -- Track time at each type of event since birth.
* Create Windows CE based logging software for times when Mom & Dad are not near a computer.
* Add feature to track baby's growth (weight, length/height)
* Add tracking of medications
* Add ability to enter additional event data (i.e.: bottle feeding amount, medication amount).
* Add differentiation between timed events (feeding time) and events logged for counting purposes only (diapers).

When I have lots of time:
* Web synchronization - Web site used to track progress, and current status.
* Adding pictures to track growth with pics.

Well, if you made it through that, I apologize, but I will never remember them all without getting them in writing.
Of course, if you have any suggestions (especially parents) for the software, I would appreciate them.

Oh my gosh Dino you're a nerd! But I'm totally impressed that you even could write something like that with all those options. Craziness!

I gotta get them in writing, but I know how to do all of it, which makes it less fun once I know how...
That is why I haven't done it yet.
