Nerds are Cool
I remembered this evening a story on the Today show a few weeks ago that proclaimed: "Nerds are Cool".
If you know me, you could understand my excitement with such a news story.
The story revolved around the success of Napolean Dynamite (which I have only seen once, and don't own yet), and Star Wars.
I think I am far from being a complete nerd (never seen a Star Wars film), but I do believe (and those who know me could agree) that I am partially a nerd.
I spend a lot of time at work and home writing code (see Infant Log 2005 post), so I can't really claim to be in any other social group.
So, anyways, I suspect that this rise of the nerds will last about 3-4 more months.
Let's take advantage of this while we can!
