Euro Tour 2006 - Day 4
Day 4
More business this day...
After business we drove back to Vienna, and checked back into the Le Meridien for the last night.
We headed back downtown to do some shopping (had to bring Nina & Eva something from Austria), and some supper.
I decided to buy Eva an old-style Austrian dress (like in Sound of Music), and Nina was getting Austrian chocolates.
Turns out, the chocolates in Austria tend to include much alcohol, which is not spectacular for my pregnant wife... minus one point for Dino.
We ate at a local bar, and I, again, tried the Wiener Schnitzel, it is beginning to seem like that is all they serve... It was good.
After supper, we all had a few drinks at the hotel bar, and I headed out once again in search of the best dessert in Vienna.
After getting extremely lost (all the roads are curved out there, really) we finally found the famous "Cafe Central" which the concierge insisted was open 'til 01:00.
Well, it was closed by 21:00 and we arrived at 22:00.
So, we headed back downtown, more determined now to obtain some great dessert, and Hot Chocolate again, as it was pretty cold outside.
We found another coffee shop, and had some pie from the case, since the kitchen was closed there as well.
And back to the Hotel... zzz ... zzz ...
