An Inconvenient Truth - because it is a lie...

I wrote a while back about an article explaining the religious aspect of science these days.
Now, things are getting worse.  With Al Gore's latest entry into the world is ending crazy talk, this religion has moved into politics.  Yep, that is much worse.

Oddly enough, Americans these days feel they are being good citizens by blindly listening to crazy people who can make cheap documentaries.  I can't even begin to express my disgust for Michael Moore, but even more disgusting is the millions of Americans who will watch a couple of clips from a documentary, and believe it as fact, and proceed to make political decisions based upon these fictional movies.

Well, onto Al's new movie...
Alright, no evidence supports the theory that CO2 is raising the earth's temperature.
NO evidence supports the idea that Hurricanes are a result or even potential result of global warming.
Most scientists DON'T believe that global warming is, even in part, due to any actions of Humans.
The most accurate readings of the whole earth's temperature show global warming itself may not even be a fact.  It appears as though the earth, as a whole, is well within the previous measured range, which means that earth has been hotter, and colder in measured history.  Now, it does appear that parts of the earth are warming, and noone understands why.  I would suggest that since the flood, we have been gradually warming at the poles.  When scientists look at everything from the perspective that the earth is millions of years old, they have a hard time understanding that a picture of 300 year history is actually significant.

The politicizing of this issue will help noone, and listening to a minority of scientists that are working on a hunch is not helping either.  It seems as though Gore has either completely given up on politics, or is getting into them even more, I can't tell the difference in this political world.  As polarized as this country is, crazy right and left-wingers will likely make it to the nomination next Pres. election and Gore is strongly placing himself with the crazies, so maybe he is running again.

I have read the article mentioned, and it shows even more how the scientific community when looking for a particular answer will find it. Science, lately, has become a political/religious institution. The data will show what they want it to show. When you start from a belief that the earth is billions of years old, you will have a hugely different perspective on the rapid change in CO2 levels.
Here is a response from AIG on the global warming topic: http://www.answersingenesis.org/docs2005/0908ct.asp

Alright, one more note that I didn't put into the previous comment. Not like Hurricane! will ever be back...
Anyways, the evidence clearly shows that CO2 goes up and temperature tends to go up. The evidence also shows that CO2 is going up.
The problem I have is in making the assumption that since CO2 is going up and temperature is going up, and factories make CO2 that somehow that can be the only cause. It could just as easily be a normal trend that has been ongoing for the last 4000 years. The cost of lowering CO2 emmisions will place the US further behind in the global market, and that may not be reversible.

From your posting:
"I would suggest that since the flood, we have been gradually warming at the poles. "
Since what flood?

I am referring to the global flood of Noah's time. I realize that this is where the scientific elite leave the conversation (if they are not gone already), but there is a wealth of evidence of such a flood. I suspect that would have a similar impact on global climate for thousands of years.
