My baby is ONE
So Eva turned one this week, and we celebrated last Sunday.
I have to give a one year update, or I wouldn't be that great of a father.
Eva is walking everywhere, and continues to amaze Nina and me everyday.
She picks up on new things all the time. She has a great memory, and loves to be read to.
She is still almost always happy, and is getting more independent every day; even pushing some limits to see what she can get away with.
She tends to warn us when she is being naughty, or just hoping to be naughty.
She will pick up something she isn't supposed to, and say "no, no, no", even if we aren't watching.
She loves to watch Dan Zanes videos, and still loves Miss Spider. She has made the whole family Dan Zanes fans, and the songs are actually pretty great, and very catchy.
She is talking all the time, and loves to try say the animals names and sounds when she sees the pictures in books.
She is a huge fan of Peek-a-boo, and will hide behind anything, including her hands, and just turning her head to the side if necessary.
She has made parenting easy. It's crazy to think that we are already half-way through the month counting age. In just another 12 months we have to start counting by years. For now, it is really great being the father of a 12 month old.
