Time running low...

I have been kind of swamped lately with Church stuff.  I volunteer to run the slide show on certain Sundays, and it amounts to about an hour prior to the service to prepare.  I do this about 3 services every month.  It makes church a lot like work, but I think that the churchgoers appreciate it, so I continue on.  The thing is, since we don't go anywhere for holidays, I am guaranteed to be scheduled for every holiday.  I can't refuse, since I am not going anywhere, but I could use a holiday off now and then.  I also have been volunteered to help out with some photo stuff for a member directory.  This amounts to only a few hours, but getting it done seems to take forever.  The church website was a project that I started, but ran out of time to continue working with, so I got away from that...Until this week, I have been tasked with switching hosting services to save money.  So I am working with the new host to make the transfer go smooth.  We will see this weekend...  Selena and I also help with the middle school youth group.  I enjoy doing that, but feel like I should be devoting more time to this task than I do.  We have to make a decision whether to continue helping next year, and I am not sure how much time I can devote to it with another child on the way in the beginning of the season.  I am trying to figure out how to just say 'no' to some of these things.

I'm certainly no expert at saying 'no' but I think people will understand if your reason for saying no is putting your family as a priority at a very busy stage of life with Eva just one and a new little one on the way. You could also figure out which of the many things you volunteer for is the thing you most enjoy and are maybe better suited for than other members of the church and say that you'd like to focus more energy on that particular job. Just my humble opinion for what it's worth. :)
