Family Update: 17 Months/9 weeks
Alright, family update time!
Nina: Nina is doing well. She was really made for this mom stuff, and is settling in with two daughters.
Eva: E.G. is all over the place. She is running and walking and dancing everywhere. She is talking a lot more; we must watch what is said around her lately. Tonight we picked up a little 8" Christmas tree that she is totally loving. She is handling the new baby situation well. She likes to get a little too close sometimes, and touches her a little too hard sometimes too. She loves her baby sister, and is getting good at words like 'crying', and 'baby' and even 'Bel' (E.G. for Isabel). She says & does so many things every day that makes being a dad so much fun. If you haven't gotten yourself a kid yet, you really should think about it...
Isabel: Isa is doing great. I am not quite sure how we could be blessed with yet another perfect child. She was sleeping 6 hours at night by 4 weeks, and now is up to a full 8 hours. I have never really been good with babies, but we have come to an understanding. I tend to spend more time with E.G., but adore Isa more everyday. She has started to smile when she sees people, and is close to holding her head up on her own. She also has started 'cooing' recently which is totally adorable.
It is a crazy adjustment to having two kids to take care of, but we are finding the way. Of course, blogging/posting photos has been the first thing to get pushed back. There are so many things different with two kids that I couldn't even list them. Everything is different but in such great ways. The holiday season is coming up, and they seem so much more fun with children. This weekend we can put up Christmas lights, and next weekend we cut down the tree!
Well, that should be enough for now.
Maybe next time, I will get some pics out there.
