Ladders
Someone took the time to collect a bunch of pictures of ridiculously dangerous use of ladders. Some I had seen before, but most are new and interesting. You must check them out HERE.
It reminds me of a previous profession as an electrician. I remember having to install a ceiling fan on a cathedral ceiling that was 18' up. All we had was a 10' step-ladder. So, my father came up with the idea of setting up two saw horses with 2"x8" planks across them, then setting the ladder on top of those planks. I still don't remember why I was the one to go up there, but I took the call, and it was probably one of the scariest jobs I was asked to do. Even with the help, I had to stand on the second to top step, which is one above the OSHA approved safe level.
