Kiddie Sampler

So, with two kids just 2 and under, eating out is kinda a trick.  We do a lot of fast food because it is cheaper.  Isa has started eating real food.  She likes chicken tenders, and Eva likes cheeseburgers.  The thing is, each one only eats half of the meal.  I propose that restaurants provide a sampler kids meal.  I see a mini cheeseburger, two chicken tenders, half fries, half applesauce, and a single drink.  I gotta believe this phase will last a while, since EG eats less than Isa at a year older.  Also, sometimes with kids this age, it is tough to guess what they will eat on any given day.  Some days EG likes chicken tenders, and some days she likes a burger.  The other day, she was eating the applesauce more than her fries.

So, as I am convinced that the upper-management of large restaurant chains, I am proposing a sampler kids meal for younger kids.  I expect that you will wait to introduce this until Superbowl where the audience is largest, but I really don't want to wait that long.

Hey Dino, Sounds like you just need to finish off the extra bites and the ordering two different meals is the charm because if they don't like theirs they can sample sisters food.  I am catching up on everyone's posts now that Amanda put them in such a handy format for me - you better watch out or those sisters of yours are going to win over Mom in the handy "Momized" computer department.  Love ya!  Have a good day!

I agree - however, what we do when eating out is either don't get a kids meal and just give them some of ours (since they don't eat anyway), or just get one kids meal and they share it.  We are mean parents and don't give them a choice of what they get.  Sometimes we do give Braelyn a choice since she is oldest!

That works alright, but I don't think Isa can have burgers.  If you could be 'not mean' parents, for the same price, you probably would be; that is my point.

Hey Dino,

I'm missing your humor lately.  You must have something controversial to write about!
